KENNISGEWING NO. 169/2016 2016/2017 AANVULLENDE WAARDASIEROL / SUPPLEMENTARY VALUATION ROLL

Die munisipaliteit moet in terme van die bepalinge van die Munisipale Eiendomsbelasting Wet, Wet 6 van 2004, ingevolge regulasie 78 jaarliks ‘n algemene waardasie van eiendomme uitvoer weens moontlike veranderings in bepaalde eiendomme soos vervat in die artikels van regulasie 78. Alle eienaars wie kennisgewings insake aanvullende waardasies ontvang per pos word versoek om te verseker dat hul adres besonderhede opdateer word ten einde te verseker dat kennisgewings in terme van die voorskrifte van die Wet hulle tydig bereik. Voorts moet u bevestig dat u die aanvullende waardasie aanvaar of alternatiewelik dat u daarteen wil appelleer. Beswaar vorms kan by die plaaslike munisipale kantore aangevra word. Volledig voltooide vorms moet die munisipale kantore bereik voor of op 30 Januarie 2017. Die aanvullende rolle is ook in die onderskeie biblioteke in die munisipale gebied beskikbaar vir
inspeksie. Kennisgewings met betrekking tot waardasie aangeleenthede sal van tyd tot tyd ook in die plaaslike media asook op die munisipale webwerf www.cederbergmunicipality.co.za bekend gemaak word, en belastingbetalers word derhalwe versoek om hul daarvan te vergewis.

As per the Stipulations of the Municipal Property Rates Act, Act 6 of 2004 the municipality must compile a general valuation roll every 4 years, and a supplementary roll each year. Owners who receive a notice of a change in their property values due to the supplementary valuation are requested to ensure that their postal addresses are updated / confirmed in order to receive the applicable notices required in terms of the legislation. Objections to the
supplementary valuations may be lodged with the municipality on the prescribed appeal form. Completed forms must reach the municipal offices on or before 30 January 2017. Notices in respect of valuation matters will also be published in the local media as well as the municipal website www.cederbergmunicipality.co.za from time to time and ratepayers are requested to acquaint themselves with the content thereof.
