INDIGENT SUPPORT GRANT: 2024/2025 FINANCIAL YEAR

To All Customers

Kindly be informed that the Indigent Support Subsidy that is granted to all qualifying and registered municipal services consumers expires on 30th June 2024.

Officials of the municipality will be available at the municipal offices in the respective towns from 01 May 2024 up until 14th of June 2024, between 09h00 and 14h00 to complete the necessary applications forms. If you are already registered as an indigent consumer you still need to re-apply for the 2024-2025 financial year. The council invites all registered SASSA pensioners and other qualifying individuals to apply.

The following documents are required:

1. Certified Copy of Valid South African ID Book.
2. Certified Copy of ID Books of Children older than 18 years.
3. Recent Municipal Services Account and pre-paid electricity meter number.
4. Certified copy of proof of income if employed (Payslip).
5. Certified copy of pension / disability slip.
6. Certified copy of three (3) months bank statement.

1. Sworn Affidavit of unemployment or unemployed.

DEERNISHULP SUBSIDIE: 2024/2025 FINANSIËLE JAAR

Aan Alle Kliënte

Geliewe kennis te neem dat die Deernishulp Subsidie wat toegestaan is aan geregistreerde behoeftige dienste verbruikers op 30 Junie 2024 verval.

Munisipale amptenare sal beskikbaar wees by die munisipale kantore in die onderskeie dorpe vanaf 01 Mei 2024 tot en met 14 Junie 2024, tussen 09h00 en 14h00 om die nodige aansoekvorms te voltooi. Indien u reeds as ‘n Deernisgeval geregistreer is moet u egter weer aansoek doen vir die 2024-2025 finansiële jaar. Die Raad nooi hiermee kwalifiserende SASSA pensioenarisse en ander individue uit om aansoek te doen.

Die volgende dokumente word benodig:

1. Gesertifiseerde afskrif van geldige Suid-Afrikaanse ID Boek.
2. Gesertifiseerde afskrif van ID Boeke van kinders ouer as 18 jaar.
3. Onlangse Munisipale Diensterekening en voorafbetaalde elektrisiteit meter nommer.
4. Gesertifiseerde afskrif van bewys van inkomste indien werksaam (Betalingsbewys).
5. Gesertifiseerde afskrif van pensioen- / ongeskiktheidstrokie.
6. Gesertifiseerde afskrif van drie (3) maande bankstaat.
7. Beëdigde verklaring van werkloosheid indien werkloos.

DRAFT WARDCOMMITTEE POLICY

Cederberg Municipality hereby inform the community that the draft Ward Committee policy was adopted by Council on the 28 March 2024.

The Draft Ward Committee Policy is now open for public comments.

The community is invited to submit written comments or representations to the municipality in respect of the Draft Ward Committee Policy, by no later than 30 April 2024.

The Policy is available on the website of the Municipality: www.cederbergmun.gov.za and municipal offices.

Any person who cannot write may come during office hours to the Municipal offices where a staff member of will assist with the comments or representations.

KONSEP WYKSKOMMITEE BELEID

Cederberg Munisipaliteit stel hiermee die gemeenskap in kennis dat die konsep Wykskomiteebeleid op

28 Maart 2024 deur die Raad aanvaar is.

Die Konsep Wykskomiteebeleid is nou oop vir publieke kommentaar.

Die gemeenskap word uitgenooi om teen nie later nie as 30 April 2024 skriftelike kommentaar of vertoë by die munisipaliteit in te dien ten opsigte van die Konsep Wykskomiteebeleid.

Die beleid is beskikbaar op die webwerf van die Munisipaliteit: www.cederbergmun.gov.za en munisipale kantore.

Persone wat nie kan skryf nie, kan gedurende kantoorure na die Munisipale kantore kom waar 'n personeellid sal help met die kommentaar of vertoë.
