Notice is hereby given  in terms of Section 12(3)(b) of the Local Government Municipal Systems Act (Act 32 of 2000) that Cederberg Municipality intends to publish the following By-laws:

• Events by-law
• Commonage by-law
• Informal trading by-law
• Amended Cederberg liquor trading days and hours by-law
• New traffic by-law
• Community fire safety by-law
• Animal keeping and impounding by-law

Full particulars of these By-laws are available for inspection during normal office hours at Cederberg Municipality, 2A Voortrekker Street, Clanwilliam from 07:30 – 16:30 (Monday to Thursday) and 07:30 – 15:00 (Friday) as well as all municipal libraries.

Comments to these By-laws can be lodged in writing to Mr Craig Sheldon, Manager Administration and Legal Services, Cederberg Municipality, Private Bag X2, Clanwilliam, 8135 or to craigs@cederberg.gov.za by no later than 07 May 2025.

Persons who are unable to read or write can submit their comments verbally at the municipal offices,  2A Voortrekker Street, Clanwilliam, where they will be assisted by a staff member to put their comment in writing.
