IMPLEMENTERING VAN JAARLIKSE TARIEF VERHOGINGS

Geagte inwoners,

Neem asseblief kennis dat ingevolge Artikel 24(2)(c)(i en iii) van die Wet op Munisipale Finansiële Bestuur, 56 van 2003, die Munisipaliteit, saam met die jaarlikse begroting, munisipale belasting en tariewe vir die nuwe begrotingsjaar moet goedkeur.

NERSA het goedkeuring verleen vir die implementering van nuwe elektrisiteitstariewe vir die 2024/2025 finansiële jaar. Elektrisiteitstariewe word dienooreenkomstig geïmplementeer en verhoog.

Alle ander munisipale dienste asook eiendomsbelasting is onderhewing aan jaarlikse tarief verhogings.

Navrae kan gerig word aan die Waarnemende Hoof Finansiële Beampte (Me L. September) of Bestuurder Inkomste (Me E. Visser) by (027) 482 8000.

IMPLEMENTATION OF ANNUAL TARIFF INCREASES

Dear Residents,

Please note that in terms of Section 24(2)(c)(i and iii) of the Municipal Finance Management Act, 56 of 2003, the Municipality must together with the annual budget, approve municipal tax and tariffs for the new budget year.

NERSA has granted approval for the implementation of new electricity tariffs for the 2024/2025 financial year. Electricity tariffs are implemented and increased accordingly.

All other municipal services as well as property rates are subject to annual tariff increases.
