Informal Settlements in Cederberg Municipal Area

Dear Residents,

As we enter the festive season, please be aware that:

No new structures and no extensions to existing structures will be allowed in informal settlements.

This applies to all informal settlements which include the followings towns:

• Citrusdal – Riverview
• Clanwilliam – Khayelitsha
• Lamberts Bay – Compong
• Elands Bay – New Rest

Important Reminders:

• Unlawful occupation of land is strictly prohibited.
• Any person hindering or obstructing officials will be guilty of an offence.
• Report any unauthorized building to the Housing/ Law Enforcement Unit @ 027 482 8000
