2025/2026 FINANCIAL YEAR

ADJUSTMENT BUDGET: NOVEMBER 2025

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 28 of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003) and Section 23 of the Municipal Budget and Reporting Regulations 2008 respectively, that the adjustment budget was approved during the Council Meeting held on 27 November 2025.

In terms of Section 21A of the Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act no. 32 of 2000), Cederberg Municipality hereby notifies the local community that the Council Resolution, and all other relevant documentation may be inspected during office hours at the municipal offices and libraries in Clanwilliam, Citrusdal, Graafwater, Lamberts Bay and Elands Bay. The said documentation will also be available on the website of the Municipality: www.cederbergmun.gov.za.

AANSUIWERINGSBEGROTING: NOVEMBER 2025

Kennis geskied hiermee ingevolge Artikel 28 van die Wet op Plaaslike Regering: Munisipale Finansiële Bestuur, 2003 (Wet No.56 van 2003) en Artikel 23 van die Munisipale Begrotings en Verslagdoening Regulasies 2008 onderskeidelik, dat die Aansuiweringsbegroting goedgekeur is tydens die Raadsvergadering van 27 November 2025.

Ingevolge Artikel 21A van die Munisipale Stelsels Wet, 2000 (Wet No. 32 van 2000), gee Cederberg Munisipaliteit hiermee kennis aan die plaaslike gemeenskap dat die raadsbesluit, en alle ander tersaaklike dokumentasie, beskikbaar is vir besigtiging gedurende kantoor ure by die munisipale kantore en biblioteke in Clanwilliam, Citrusdal, Graafwater, Lambertsbaai en Elandsbaai. Die gemelde dokumentasie sal ook beskikbaar wees op die webwerf van die Munisipaliteit: www.cederbergmun.gov.za.

Navrae in hierdie verband kan gerig word aan die Hoof Finansiële Beampte, Mnr J Booysen by (027) 482 8000.

NOTICE: MONTH TO MONTH MANAGEMENT LEASE AGREEMENT: KLEINBEGIN CORPORATION :  FISH MARKET BUILDING, ERF 753, MAIN ROAD, ELANDSBAY

NOTICE NUMBER: 368/2025

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 16 (1)(a) of the “Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000”

In terms of Section 16 (1)(a)(v), the Municipality is obligated to inform the local community with regards to strategic decisions relating to the provision of municipal services in terms of Chapter 8,

(b) contribute to building the capacity of –

(i) the local community to enable it to participate in the affairs of the municipality;

(ii) councillors and staff to foster community participation

The Municipality hereby invites all interested parties to comment on the intend to undersign a month to month  lease agreement with Kleinbegin Corporation, Fish market Building,  ERF 753 Elandsbay. Any proposals and inputs made will be considered during the finalization of the process before it is finally approved by the Council of the Cederberg Municipality.

Written comments in this regard, if any, must be submitted no later than Monday, 12 January 2026 to the address below. (for attention:  The Municipal Manager).

KENNISGEWING NOMMER: 368/2025

Kennis word hiermee gegee in terme van Artikel 16(1)(a) van die “Local Goverment:  Municipal Systems Act, 2000”.

In terme van Art 16(1)(a)(v), word die Munisipaliteit verplig om die plaaslike gemeenskap in kennis te stel van strategiese besluite met betrekking tot die lewering van munisipale dienste in terme van Hoostuk 8,

(b) bydrae tot die opbou van kapasiteit van -

(i) die plaaslike gemeenskap om hulle in staat te stel om deel te neem in die bedrywighede van die munisipaliteit;

(ii) raadslede en amptenare om gemeenskap deelname te bevorder

Die Munisipaliteit rig hiermee ’n uitnodiging aan alle belanghebbende partye om kommentaar te lewer op die be sluit om ’n maand tot maand huurooreenkoms te ondergaan met Kleinbegin Korporasie, Vismark gebou, ERF 753 Elandsbaai. Enige voorstelle en insette wat gelewer word sal oorweeg word  alvorens dit finaal deur die Raad van die Cederberg Munisipaliteit goedgekeur word.

Skriftelike kommentaar in hierdie verband, indien enige, moet nie later nie as Maandag, 12 Januarie 2026 by onderstaande adres  ingedien word. (vir aandag:  Die Munisipale Bestuurder).
